Various things that I come across I feel might be of interest to others. Sometimes I'll share another's post, sometimes I write my own.

Puzzle the Pigs
I don't know how safe it is to purchase animals as gifts or own so many that a person is unable to care for them properly. I myself would run over the reasonable limit if I didn't have my wife to say "enough's enough"; I love my companions. My dog Aristotle is definitely on my short list. However, we have two guinea pigs that must be caged most of the time, this is not a bad thing necessarily with ample room and something to do. As of this writing I have them on a diet of sweet pepper, carrots, grapes and apple scraps in addition to their normal feed which must be freely accessible. I found out recently that I need not cut up the pepper quite like I thought. Lately I have been slicing off a few slivers for myself and shoving the grapes, apples, and chunks of carrot inside. Others may already be doing this but I thought it was an idea worth sharing no matter. They don't sit and eat so much so fast, and they have a challange to keep them busy for awhile.
Hope this helps someone, thanks for reading, Garrick
P.S. Please avoid the all
ergen, cedar bedding, at least for the guinea pig.
